The deadline applied to foreign-born migrant workers and residents born in the Dominican Republic who have no documentation since being stripped of their Dominican citizenships by a 2013 court decision. In light of the imminent deportation of Dominicans of Haitian descent to Haiti, we replay a conversation on the recent DR Citizenship Ruling with Judge Lionel Jean-Baptiste, Ninaj Raoul of Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees, Fabrice Armand of Haiti Chérie Pride, Love, Commitment and prior guest Katleen Félix of HHTARG and Fonkoze. This conversation was initially recorded in the fall of 2014.
